Lunch Box Ideas – Week 26

Happy Tuesday my friends! I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend. We stayed low key and spent lots of family time together. We saw ‘Finding Dory’ for the second time, ate at our favorite Sushi restaurant, spent lots of time in the garage gym, and watched fireworks on the 4th. The biggest highlight of the weekend was when we got our son his ‘big boy bed’ and he helped put it together. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up. I am not ready for the next step…potty training. I have decided that instead we will switch to adult diapers when he outgrows the toddler sizes. That will save us all a lot of alcohol and tantrums. Why Weekly Lunch Box Ideas

Each week my son’s daycare provides a menu of what they will feed the kiddos for breakfast and lunch. My daily goal is to provide my son with nutrient dense, real food alternatives that look like what his classmates are eating. Lunch Box Ideas – Week 26 is a recap of my efforts from last week. 


MONDAY

Raising Primal Lunch Box:

BREAKFAST: Muesli, chicken and apple sausage, avocado, fresh berries
LUNCH: Banza Shells with chicken sausage and tomato sauce, fresh green beans, avocado, and fresh berries

School Menu:

BREAKFAST: Cereal
LUNCH: Spaghetti and meat sauce, peas, fruit cocktail


TUESDAY

Raising Primal Lunch Box:

BREAKFAST: Egg whites, fresh fruit, cassava tortilles with goat cheese
LUNCH: Hash browns mixed with kale, chicken and apple sausage, and goat cheese, Granola, freeze dried berries, coconut banana chews, fresh fruit

School Menu:

BREAKFAST: Cheese and sausage rolls
LUNCH: Tater tot casserole, diced peaches


WEDNESDAY

Raising Primal Lunch Box:

BREAKFAST: Apple sauce, Granola, goat cheese slices, avocado, strawberries
LUNCH: Gluten free chicken nuggets, fresh fruit, mashed red potatoes, carrots and peas

School Menu:

BREAKFAST: Apple sauce
LUNCH: Chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable medley


THURSDAY

Raising Primal Lunch Box:

BREAKFAST: Gluten free oatmeal, chicken and apple sausage, fresh fruit, raisins and freeze dried fruit 
LUNCH: Banza noodles, gluten free chicken nuggets, pickle, fresh vegetables, raspberries

School Menu:

BREAKFAST: Oatmeal
LUNCH: Fish sticks, mandarin oranges


FRIDAY

Raising Primal Lunch Box:

BREAKFAST: Toast with goat cheese, grapes, raspberries, chicken and apple sausage
LUNCH:  Trader Joe’s nitrate free chicken hot dog, coconut oil chips, pickle, fresh fruit

School Menu:

BREAKFAST: Cheese toast
LUNCH: Hot dogs, pickles, chips, banana
